In 1979, with a pickup truck and a van, brothers Rod and Dave Williams founded EBS (then known as Williams Wash-On-Wheels) to answer a variety of service needs of Minnesota’s commercial masonry contractors.

Over the years, under the guiding principle of “quality and dependability with integrity”, the company grew. In 1997 we incorporated and changed our name to Exterior Building Services, more commonly known simply as “EBS”. As our competencies grew over the years, so did our product offerings and services.

After a 20+ year career in the corporate sector, Tamelyn Holter, a cousin of the founders, joined the business as president and, in 2008, she became majority owner. Under her leadership, the business has continued to grow and diversify its offerings. Today it is among the region’s most trusted and respected contractors for the building envelope.
